Tecaser now has a Kanban Board. It gives the one-off jobs in a fleet, the ones no inspection date or service interval covers, a shared place where everyone can see who owns them and how far along they are.
Why a board
A mirror to replace, a trailer to collect, a quote to chase from the tyre shop: these jobs usually live in notebooks, chat threads and people's heads. The Kanban Board turns each of them into a card that moves through columns from Backlog to Done, so what is waiting, what is stuck and what is finished is visible at a glance.
What a task can hold
- An owner: assign the task to a member of your organisation.
- A flag: mark urgent tasks as important so they stand out.
- Photos: attach a picture of the damage, a delivery note or a receipt.
- Comments and history: discuss the task where the work is, and see every change, including status changes.
Recurring work stays where Tecaser already tracks it: Compliance for inspections and insurance, Maintenance for service intervals and Issues for defects.
How to turn it on
The Kanban Board is off by default. Open Settings in the Tecaser app and turn on Kanban under Features. It then appears in the main menu.
Read more on the Kanban Board feature page, or get the app on the download page.
