We're excited to announce a new module in Tecaser: Fuel Management. It ties every refueling to a vehicle and the fleet card that paid for it, calculates real per-vehicle consumption, and catches the costly mistakes that usually hide in a card statement until the invoice arrives — whether they start with a driver, a card provider, a gas station, or even Tecaser itself.
Fuel is one of the largest recurring costs a fleet carries, and one of the hardest to keep an eye on by hand — refuelings happen at dozens of stations, paid for with a mix of cards, and the only real signal something has gone wrong is a spend number that looks a little too high at the end of the month. Fuel Management turns that into something you can actually check, vehicle by vehicle.
Key features of Fuel Management:
- Fuel cards, fully modeled — register the cards your organisation uses, assign them to vehicles, rotate them on expiry, and link straight to each supplier's own card management portal
- Discount-aware guidance — rank your suppliers by discount, so a driver knows which card to reach for before fuelling up, not just after
- Import from the provider you already use — dedicated marketplace modules for ARCCAN SMDP, Eurowag, DKV, MOL, Orlen, Shell, and TankPool24, processing thousands of statement transactions in minutes instead of weeks by hand
- Built-in mistake detection, wherever it starts — a wrong-vehicle card, duplicate cards on file for one driver, a GPS trail that doesn't match the station, a worse-than-negotiated discount, or a transaction with no matching tank-level change
- Consumption you can trust — real fuel-used-per-distance figures between full fill-ups, a vehicle's own consumption drift over time, and consumption compared across vehicles on the same route
- Full edit history — every change to a refueling record is logged, so it's always clear who changed it and when
