Not every job in a fleet comes with a due date that software can calculate. A cracked mirror to replace, a trailer to collect from a customer, a quote to chase from the tyre shop, a document someone promised to scan — these jobs end up in notebooks, chat threads and people's heads, and the ones nobody owns quietly slip.
Tecaser's Kanban Board gives those tasks one shared place, where your team can see what is waiting, who is working on what, and what is already done.
Every task in one view
The board has a column for each stage of a task: Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Done, Completed and Cancelled. Each task is a card. To move it to the next stage, drag the card to another column, or use the Move action if you prefer not to drag.
Seeing the whole board at once answers the questions that otherwise take a round of phone calls: what is still waiting, what is stuck in progress, and what got finished this week.
Assign it, flag it, document it
Each task has a title and a description, and you can assign it to a member of your organisation, so there is never any doubt about who owns it. Tasks that cannot wait can be flagged as important, so they stand out on the board.
You can also attach images to a task: a photo of the damage, a delivery note, a receipt. The evidence stays with the task instead of getting lost in someone's phone gallery.
Comments and a full history
Every task has its own comment thread, so questions and updates stay next to the work they are about, not scattered across emails and messages. Changes to a task are saved as versions, and its history shows what changed and when, including every status change.
When two people edit the same task at once, Tecaser warns the second person that the task was changed in the meantime, instead of silently overwriting the first person's work.
For everything your schedules don't cover
Recurring deadlines are better handled where Tecaser tracks them for you: inspections and insurance in Compliance, service intervals in Maintenance, and defects reported by drivers and mechanics in Issues. The Kanban Board is for the rest — the one-off jobs that still need an owner and a finish line.
Turn it on
The Kanban Board is switched off by default. To start using it, open Settings in the Tecaser app and turn on Kanban under Features. It then appears in the main menu.
